It's Worth It!
Hello again, Softball fans! It seems like yesterday the 2012 slow-pitch season was kicking off.
It's Worth It!
Hello softball fans across the country! Well, it's that time of year again...

Mike Cornell is the Sports Marketing Manager for slow-pitch softball and youth baseball at Worth Sports. Cornell has become so successful with his methodology because he has seen the games from every perspective, beginning with his days at Woodbridge High School in Virginia. He played football, basketball and baseball in high school and also spent time as a teenager working in a local sporting goods store. He then joined the United States Coast Guard upon graduating from high school and wound up in South Florida, where he continued to work part-time in the industry while also experiencing for the first time the fun of playing slow-pitch softball.

While in the Coast Guard, Cornell became manager of Lombard’s Golf and Tennis in North Miami Beach and handled all of the company’s team sales. He moved to the Tampa-St. Petersburg area around the time he and his wife, Denise, were married, where he started working at Gulf Shores Sports. He later joined Worth while the company made some of the greatest advances ever in its product line.
