AL PALMQUIST APPOINTED THE FIRST FASTPITCH NATIONAL FASTPITCH DIRECTOR FOR ISA SOFTBALL

Jan.1 2010-  Al Palmquist became the first fastpitch National Director in the history of ISA.  Al just finished a three year stint as the state director for NSA.  Palmquist joined ISA  in 1987 as the state church director, and then became the fastpitch UIC and went from there to become the west coast director.

Al would like to accomplish some goals in his new job.  He would like to have a great umpire staff and a great staff that can make tournaments professional and fun.

He believes most of the teams want to play tournament like the world series in Florida.  The next few years you can expect the World Youth Series and Softball Magazine's Bat Wars to work together on the World Series in Florida....The 2010 Youth World Series and Bat Wars will be in Polk county Florida in July 2010.

A word about Al Palmquist- My team Safe House won eleven ISA State Championships in Florida, and two world series for ISA and one World Series.

I have run over 500 girls fastpitch tournaments in Florida...have run Softball For Hearts with Michele Smith and also the Michele Smith ISA showcase which is going to be once again in Clearwater this Sept. 17,18 and 19.
